A few words about Faraklata

One of the largest villages on the island, Faraklata is located just five kilometers outside of Argostoli. They are built at an altitude of 260 meters, among the green nature, in the center of Kefalonia and have 411 permanent residents. Colorful houses, traditional architecture, crimson roofs and manicured yards full of flowers make up the landscape in Faraklata. From a distance you will see the central church of the village standing out, which is dedicated to Saint Demetrius and the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary.
